This is a story about 3 very unlike pairs of people (2 burglars, 2 detectives and 2 foreigners) on their various and intertwined routes through Austria, a sometimes bizarre, sometimes fantastic story about love and friendship.

Most of the scenes were shot on location, but the scouting process took 3 full months. The Chinese-restaurant, supermarket, and the apartment were decorated as abandoned spaces; the container, the bank, and the moon were built from scratch.
