This is a sequel to Help I shrunk my teacher (2015), and it was bigger, better, faster ; ) We shot over 10 weeks in 4 towns (in 2 different countries) and had huge shoes made in India. We filled a studio of the size of 1200 m2 with only 3 major sets: The adapted replicas of the tower walls for the climbing scenes, the set for the attic (on top of the tower) and the parkour. We filled another one with scaled sets – again and again. We had so much to do at times, that I didnt even manage to take pictures, which is why I use a lot of filmstills on this page.

To film children climbing up a listed monument, it was necessary to rebuild parts of the tower in the studio, where it was easier to secure the kids, we were safe regardless of wind and weather, and in total control of the “daylight”. It also made it possible to adapt the design of the facade and attic part in a way, that made it easy to climb on.

And again we created these many many sets within a set for the little people: The top of the washstand in the bathroom, the corner with the football shoes is part of Felix room, the xylophone is in the parkour, the cage in the museum, etc.
